# Wallets and Multisig

Addresses and policy

We’re moving the treasury from the current dev wallet to a **multisig** so no single person can move funds.

A multisig needs approvals from multiple wallets for any transaction, with the signer list and threshold decided (and adjustable) by community vote. We’ll start simple (e.g., 3-5) and can scale to 4-7 as we grow.\
\
Day-to-day payments will go through a small **ops wallet** with a daily cap, while the main treasury stays tightly controlled. This keeps custody distributed and aligned with our decentralized vision.

**Planned**

* Treasury main multisig: \[address]
* Ops wallet with daily cap: \[address]
* Policy: 3 of 5 to start, move to 4 of 7 later
* All signers use hardware wallets
