# Data Policy

**What we collect and why**\
We will collect basic data like emails, wallet addresses, and cookies to run authentication, power the task board/leaderboards, prevent abuse, and understand how to improve Organic. We use aggregated analytics to spot bottlenecks, measure engagement, and decide what to build next. On-chain activity is public by design.

**How we use it**\
Data is used only to operate features, generate dashboards, and take product decisions that help the community reach its goals. We don’t sell personal data. We share limited information with service providers needed to run the platform.

**Your choices**\
You can request access or deletion of your data at <organic_community@proton.me> \
Some features may require basic info (e.g., email/wallet) to work. Cookies can be controlled in your browser.

**Security & retention**\
We apply reasonable security measures and keep data only as long as needed for the purposes above. We’ll update this page as the stack evolves.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://organic-1.gitbook.io/organic-docs/legal/data-policy.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
